WOOD VARNISH

Promac Ecoat Wood Varnish is a quality UV and water repellent protective coating for interior and exterior wooden surfaces. It is ideal for garage doors, furniture, door and window frames, panelling and most quality wooden surfaces.

• Clear gloss varnish, as well as a range of standard colours

• Contains UV light absorbers and stabilisers for exterior durability and linseed oil for optimum penetration and adhesion to wood

• Lead content, less than 90 ppm

Depending on the type of substrate, surface porosity, the application technique and tools used, this product will cover approximately 16 m²/litre per coat.

In a well-ventilated area, apply this product with a quality brush, roller or spray equipment to both smooth and rough surfaces. For spray application, thin as required, approximately 10% maximum recommended. Thin the first coat in the ratio 3 parts varnish to 1 part mineral turpentine by volume. Successive coats should be applied as is, but could be thinned 10-parts varnish to 1-part mineral turpentine by volume. Allow to dry for 24 hours before sanding lightly between coats with a 150-grit paper or finer to produce a matt effect. Remove all dust with a damp cloth. Apply at least 3 coats of Promac Ecoat Wood Varnish.

After use, clean all tools while wet with mineral turpentine.
